The design for the Olive Communications website is intended as a modernist take on black culture in the south african context. The website design is specifically ushered away from the somewhat cliche visuals one expects to see when they think of South African black culture. Rather option to go with an overall aesthetic which fuses contemporary simplicity and sophistication, with spurts of vibrance and references to fashion, vintage automobiles and urban cityscapes.
